Delete your account and data

You can delete your NEARNOW account at any time, without asking anyone.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the Me tab.
2. At the bottom, under Account, tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm. Deletion happens straight away.

If you cannot get into the app

Write to us from the email address on your account; once we have confirmed it is you, we delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile, photos, interests and preferences
• Your likes, matches and messages
• Your phone number and sign-in details
• Any current location record (kept only while you are live)

What may be kept for a time

• Reports about the account and safety records: to prevent abuse and meet legal duties, separated from your identity and only for as long as the law requires.
• Purchase records made through the stores: held by Apple and Google under their own rules. A subscription must also be cancelled in your store settings.
