1. Who we are and acceptance

NEARNOW (the "App") is provided by [COMPANY NAME] ("we"). By creating an account or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Who may use the App

You must be at least 18 years old. You must give your true date of birth. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are closed.

One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity on it.

3. How the App works

NEARNOW shows people who are in the same place at the same time and who have each chosen to be visible. You are visible only while you are "Live", and only within the scope you choose (50 metres, 100 metres or the same venue). You can go invisible at any moment.

A match happens when two people like each other. We do not guarantee matches or meetings.

4. Rules

You must not: harass, threaten or pester anyone; use a false identity, someone else's photos or misleading information; misrepresent your location; share content that involves minors, is sexually explicit, violent or hateful; use the App for advertising, selling, escorting or soliciting money; collect other people's data, access the App by automated means or try to bypass its safeguards; or use the App to monitor or follow a person.

Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or closed without notice.

5. Your content

You confirm that the photos and text you add are yours to share. You allow us to show them to other users solely to operate the App. When you delete your account, your content is deleted.

6. Your safety

We do not verify users' identities or run background checks. "Verified" and other badges are not a guarantee. If you decide to meet someone, meet in a public place, tell someone you trust, and leave whenever you feel uncomfortable.

Meetings in person and your dealings with other users are your own responsibility. You can report and block users in the App. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

7. Moderation

We review reports. Accounts reported by several different users may be hidden automatically until a review is complete. You can appeal our decisions at [EMAIL].

8. Paid features

Premium subscriptions and one-off extras (Boost, Hello, session extension) are bought through the App Store or Google Play; payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow those stores' terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the period ends.

Paid features affect your visibility and session length; they do not guarantee matches and never give access to people who chose not to be visible. Credits and virtual gifts have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not refunded if an account is closed. Your statutory withdrawal and refund rights are unaffected.

9. Service and liability

The App is provided "as is". Location accuracy depends on your device and surroundings; we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for other users' conduct or for indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the App (Me › Account › Delete my account). We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and will tell you in the App about significant changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]; the courts of [CITY] have jurisdiction. Consumers keep the right to bring claims where they live.
